The line's position
CORTE is the House's line of occasion. It is made for the majlis, the reception, the Eid gathering and the room where the sandal must be recognised without becoming loud.
The surfaces
CORTE carries formal surfaces: quill, grain, polish and depth. These are materials that read at distance, but the House keeps them under discipline. Presence is permitted; excess is not.
The form
The line holds closely to the Gulf sandal's inherited shape. CORTE does not modernise the form for novelty. It dresses it for occasion.
